Refund Policy

Overview

DemoBites offers a free tier that gives you full access to the core product — including creating, polishing, and exporting Bites — so you can evaluate the platform before committing to a paid plan. Our refund policy reflects this: you can try before you buy.

14-Day Refund Window

If you purchase a paid subscription and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial purchase date, subject to the eligibility conditions below.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund, all of the following must be true at the time of your request:

  • The refund is requested within 14 days of the initial paid subscription purchase
  • You have not created more than 5 Bites in total across your Workspace since upgrading to the paid plan
  • This is your first paid subscription with DemoBites (not a renewal or re-subscription)

If you have created more than 5 Bites on your paid plan, you have consumed the paid service beyond what the free tier provides, and the refund does not apply. The free tier is specifically designed to let you evaluate the product without financial commitment.

What Is Not Refundable

  • Subscription renewals (monthly or otherwise) — only the initial purchase is eligible
  • Add-on purchases (additional Bites, Workspaces, language slots) once consumed
  • Subscriptions where usage exceeds 5 Bites since the upgrade
  • Partial months of service after cancellation

Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
  • Your Workspace reverts to the free tier at the end of the billing period (see our Terms & Conditions for details on content limits)

Free Tier

We offer a free tier that includes a limited number of Bites and access to all core features — including Bite Studio, Hubs, and Pulse. We encourage you to use the free tier to evaluate whether the Service meets your needs before upgrading to a paid plan.

How to Request a Refund

Refund requests can be made through Paddle, our payment processor and Merchant of Record:

  • Use the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” link in your purchase confirmation email
  • Visit paddle.net and select “Request refund”
  • Or contact us directly at team@demobites.com

Eligible refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days for card payments and within 48 hours for PayPal, using the original payment method.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, sales tax, and refund processing. For billing inquiries or disputes, you may contact Paddle directly at paddle.net or reach out to us at team@demobites.com.
