Hub templates

Every Hub uses a professionally designed template that controls the layout, hero section, card grid, and overall feel. Choose one that matches your content and brand.

DemoBites includes 9 template designs, each with a distinct layout and visual style. All templates are fully responsive and adapt to your workspace branding.

Classic Cards

Clean grid layout with thumbnail cards. The default choice — works well for any content type. Hero section with Hub title and description at the top.

Magazine

Editorial-style layout with a large featured item and a compact grid below. Great for highlighting a hero Bite with supporting content.

Minimal List

Compact list view with small thumbnails. Fits more items above the fold — ideal for large collections or reference libraries.

Spotlight Grid

Bold card grid with gradient overlays on thumbnails. Eye-catching and modern — best for marketing-facing Hubs.

Timeline

Chronological layout with date markers. Perfect for release notes, changelogs, or product update histories.

Masonry

Pinterest-style staggered grid. Creates visual variety — works best when your Bites have different thumbnail aspect ratios.

Sidebar Nav

Left sidebar navigation with categorized sections. Best for structured content like training academies with logical groupings.

Full-Width Hero

Large hero video at the top with a grid of supporting Bites below. Perfect for product launches or feature announcements.

Compact Tiles

Small, dense tiles with hover-to-play previews. Maximizes content density — ideal for comprehensive help centers.

Template features

All templates share these core capabilities:

  • Fully responsive — looks great on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Automatic branding — your workspace colors, fonts, and logo are applied.
  • Video player integration — Bites play inline or in a lightbox depending on the template.
  • SEO-friendly — proper meta tags, Open Graph data, and semantic HTML.
  • Fast loading — optimized with lazy loading and CDN delivery.

Choosing a template

Pick a template based on your content type and audience:

Onboarding academy

Sidebar Nav or Classic Cards — structured navigation helps new users find content.

Product changelog

Timeline — chronological layout matches the "what's new" narrative.

Feature showcase

Full-Width Hero or Spotlight Grid — bold visuals grab attention.

Help center

Compact Tiles or Minimal List — high density lets users scan quickly.

Marketing landing page

Magazine or Spotlight Grid — editorial feel with visual impact.

Switching templates

You can switch templates at any time — your Bites and their order are preserved. Just select a new template in the Hub editor and re-publish. The content stays the same; only the layout changes.

Tip: Try a few templates before committing. The template picker shows a live preview with your actual content, so you can compare layouts side by side.
