What is Spotlight?
Spotlight turns your published Bites into a short, polished highlight reel, a 30 to 60 second MP4 you can post to LinkedIn, X, YouTube, or drop into a launch announcement. Pick a few clips, choose a design template, and Spotlight stitches them into a cinematic teaser with titles, music, and narration.
What is Spotlight?
Where Hubs are a destination and Pulse lives inside your product, Spotlight is your social and launch content. It takes the money moments from several Bites and assembles them into one share-ready video.
Every Spotlight is rendered at full 1920×1080 HD with no watermark. You stay in control of the story, which clips, what order, the titles, the music, and one of ten design templates handles the art direction so it looks produced, not stitched.
See it live
Here’s a real Spotlight render, the kind of video you download at the end. This one uses the Keynote template.
Two ways to build
From the Spotlight section in the dashboard, click Create Spotlight, name it, then choose how hands-on you want to be:
Make the magic happen ✨
The one-click path. Pick 3 to 6 Bites and a template, and DemoBites finds the best clip in each, writes the intro and outro copy, and renders a finished video for you , ready to download in a couple of minutes. Edit afterward if you like.
I’ll build it myself
The full editor. Add and reorder scenes, trim each clip, write titles and taglines, tune music, narration, captions, intro and outro, every detail under your control. See the editor guide.
Both paths start from a template. Browse the full set on the Templates page, each one has a live demo so you can see its style before you commit.
What you get
A 1920×1080 (16:9) MP4, H.264, 30fps, no watermark.
A direct download. Spotlights are files, not hosted pages, you own the video.
Ready for any platform, upload to YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, or attach to a press release.
Re-render any time, tweak a clip or title and export a fresh version.
Before you start
- You need at least 3 published Bites in the workspace, Spotlight pulls its clips from them.
- Renders draw from your monthly render allowance, the same shared pool as Bite exports.
- Access is controlled per member, a workspace admin grants the Spotlight permission in workspace settings.
