DemoBites has two plans, Free and Growth. Free gets you started. Growth is the whole platform, and the one thing you choose is how many demo minutes you want each month.
Billing model
Growth is sized by demo minutes, from 25 a month up to 250, in steps of 25. Billed monthly it is a dollar a minute: 25 minutes is $25 a month, 250 minutes is $250. Billed annually you save 20 percent: 25 minutes is $20 a month, paid once a year as $240, and your minutes pool for the whole year. You can change the number of minutes at any time.
Every size includes up to 50,000 unique monthly active users. Beyond that, contact sales. There is no per seat pricing, Growth has up to 10 teammates per workspace. Payments are processed by Paddle. The full price list is on the pricing page.
A monthly active user is a person who interacts with your Product Hub or your In app Pulse during the calendar month. In the Pulse that means opening it or starting a demo. In the Product Hub it means spending at least five seconds on a page, scrolling, clicking, searching, filtering, opening a chapter or subscribing.
A page that only loads in a background tab, autoplay and bots do not count. Embedding a demo on your website does not count a monthly active user; only people who actually interact with your Product Hub or Pulse do. Each person counts once a month, whichever of the two they used. Pass your user ids and the count is exact; otherwise people are recognised by a first party id.

Localization add on Growth
Localization publishes every update in nine languages: English plus Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Italian, Dutch and Korean. It is an add on, on Growth: $40 a month billed annually, or $50 billed monthly, whatever number of minutes you choose.

Moving from Free to Growth
Sign up lands on Free. When you reach a limit, the app offers Growth. You pick your demo minutes, and you can change the number later.
The 11th published demo
Free publishes up to 10 updates. Growth has no limit.
The 11th demo minute
Free has 10 demo minutes a month. Growth starts at 25 a month.
Broadcast, Feedback, Signals, Analytics or Segmentation
They are shown locked on Free, and opening one offers Growth. The only number Free sees is its monthly active users count on the Usage page.
The first invite
Free is one person, the owner. Growth has up to 10 teammates per workspace.
Past 1,000 monthly active users
Nothing is cut. You see an upgrade prompt.
Managing your subscription
Manage your plan from the billing page in settings:
Upgrade
You upgrade in the app and pick your demo minutes. The change takes effect immediately and is prorated. You can change the number of minutes at any time.
Cancel
Cancelling returns the workspace to Free at the end of the paid period. It needs 10 or fewer published demos.
Payments are processed by Paddle. Growth is paid by card, monthly or annually. Checkout, receipts, and invoices are handled by Paddle, DemoBites never sees your card details. Refunds follow the Refund Policy.

What is the difference between Free and Growth?

Where does DemoBites show on Free?
Your Product Hub and your In app Pulse carry a Powered by DemoBites mark. Demo exports, Highlight exports and the Highlight preview are clean, with no mark of any kind. On Growth the mark is gone.
What is Segmentation?
Rules in the In app Pulse that pin, limit or hide updates by the viewer's role, job or plan, from tags your app sends with the embed. You set them in the Pulse editor, in the Rules and segmentation tab. Part of Growth.
What happens on Free when I reach a limit?
Free has 10 demo minutes a month and up to 10 published demos. The next minute or the next published demo offers Growth, and so does opening Broadcast, Feedback, Signals, Analytics or Segmentation. Exports are never counted.
How do I move from Free to Growth?
Sign up lands on Free. When you reach a limit, the app offers Growth. You pick your demo minutes, and you can change the number later.
How do I cancel?
Cancel at any time, in the app. Growth stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then the workspace returns to Free. Free holds up to 10 published demos, so take the rest offline first.
How many teammates can I invite?
Free is for one person. Growth has up to 10 teammates per workspace, with roles and permissions. Need more? Contact sales.
What do I need to talk to sales for?
Gated access, Personalization, a custom contract, more than 250 demo minutes a month, SAML SSO, or unlimited monthly active users. Pricing is per workspace, and more workspaces are self service on Growth. Contact us and we set it up with you.
Who handles payment and invoices?
Free needs no card. Growth is paid by card, monthly or annually, through Paddle, our payment partner. Your receipts and invoices come from Paddle.
