Localization
Reach a global audience by translating your Bites into additional languages. DemoBites handles AI-powered translation, narration, and captions — you just pick the languages.
How localization works
When you add a language to a Bite, DemoBites creates a complete localized version: the narration script is translated, a native-sounding voice is selected for that language, and captions are generated in the target language. The video itself stays the same — only the audio and text change.
Adding languages
- 1Open a Bite in the Bite Studio.
- 2Navigate to the Languages section in the settings panel.
- 3Click "Add Language" and select from the available languages.
- 4DemoBites translates the narration and generates audio automatically.
- 5Review the translation — you can edit the translated text before exporting.
- 6Export the Bite to render all language versions.
What gets translated
Narration
The voiceover script is translated and re-recorded with a native-language voice.
Captions
Karaoke-style captions are regenerated in the target language with proper timing.
What stays the same
The video recording itself, zoom effects, interactions, and visual styling are shared across all languages. Only the audio and text layers change. This means you only need to record once — localization handles the rest.
Viewer experience
When a Bite has multiple languages, the player page shows a language switcher. Viewers can switch languages on the fly — the video pauses momentarily, swaps to the selected language’s audio and captions, and resumes from the same position.
- Language switcher appears automatically when multiple languages exist.
- Switching is instant — no page reload or separate URL required.
- The primary language is shown by default.
- Works on player pages, embeds, Hubs, and Pulse feeds.
Language slots
Localization is available as an add-on. Each language slot costs $25/month per workspace and lets you translate any Bite in that workspace into that language.
Example
If you purchase 2 language slots (e.g., French and German), you can translate every Bite in your workspace into both French and German — regardless of how many Bites you have. The cost is per language, not per Bite.
